The agenda of congresses magically veered hard to the left 1.7 months ago.
And we are shocked that it was necessary to stop the socialist movement?
Looks like your European friends will have to wait a little while longer. |

Where I can find this chart on the internet? I'd love to pass it along to some friends :) |
|
Just make a new one, using excel, and then you can save the chart as a .pdf and send it everywhere you want.
Takes about 10 minutes to generate, for Kimbat it would be about 10 days. Trouble reading Excel for Dummies, I think... |

The fact that Pee Lousy won't even allow a vote on the floor of the house concerning increasing domestic energy supply as a portion of a comprehensive energy policy has nothing to do with filibustering, which is a constitutionally mandated and recognized course of legislative action.
What Pee Lousy is doing is not. |

When Michele Bachmann was in the Minnesota State Senate, she authored 10% of the entire Senate's worthless resolutions. She was well known for promoting herself with these things, along with other headline-grabbing issues. But as soon as the cameras leave, Michele is gone and her work is done. It's on to the next publicity stunt. She's got a lot of nerve accusing Democrats of doing nothing. Remember--it was Bachmann who was screaming bloody murder when Nancy Pelosi extended the congressional workweek from three days to five. Why, that cut into Michele's self-promotion time. Bachmann is the laziest, most unethical politician Minnesota has ever sent to Congress. |

There are 8.8 million unemployed. If the 700 billion the U.S. spends for foreign oil was spend on American Energy, that would create 14 million jobs with salaries of $50,000 a year.
This leaves a zero unemployment rate, with 5 million jobs left over for future job expansion for many years to come.

Kimberly,
Nancy Pelosy has her hands full of what??? Must not be too bad, She's on vacation for crying out loud! Other's are trying to get some important things done... in the dark... because Madam Mao, er, Nancy shout the lights down.
Monkey Man,
How about some actual examples of worthless bills? Or should we just take your word for it?

I think this is the first time a graph ever made me laugh.
Great job Michelle. |

You remind me of my 2 year-old grand-daughter who plays peekaboo by covering her eyes, thinking she's the one hiding because she can't see me!
Petulant GOP? Let's remind us that SanFran Nan promised "the most ethical and transparent Congress" on record; that bills would be given a fair hearing and timely up-or-down votes; that civility would return (as if it had vanished the previous 10 years) to the House floor.
Can you site just a few of the "filibusters" of note that you accuse the GOP of staging? And on what policies those filibusters occurred? Please include some facts in your assertions. |

How about "What was Michele Bachmann voting against while gas prices skyrocketed?"
Veterans benefits Children's health care Renewable energy tax credits 35W bridge money Farm bill Renewable energy tax incentives Renewable energy research Removing oil company tax breaks

the problem again, instead of the solution. Blaming others is not going to accomplish anything. And it is not governments job to get us off of oil. Free market will dictate what we want and need. You dont think so? You are a communist. And an idiot.
The communist BHO-"I'm black enough, I'm muslim enough and doggone it, liberals like me." |

..are paid DNC mouthpieces. If they were on my payroll, I would fire them for incompetence. They try to employ tactics right out of the propagandists textbook. They repeat worn out lies over and over and over ad nauseam. And they aren't even good at lying. I suspect that their handlers from the DNC are getting frantic.
They are usually the first to post ridiculous out of context charges on anything Michele says. They must be assigned to Michele by the DNC.
If they were normal voting bloggers they would be more balanced.
In any case, my recommendation it to boycott and ignore them. They probably get paid by the word.

Pelosi: Welcome you voters, sit yourself down And meet the best Speaker in town As for the rest, all of 'em crooks: Rooking their voters and crooking the books Seldom do you see Honest women like me A lady of good intent Who's content to be
Speaker of the House, doling out the charm Ready with a handshake and an open palm Tells a made up tale, makes a little stir Voters appreciate a bon-viveur Glad to do a friend a favor Doesn't cost me to be nice But nothing gets you nothing Everything has got a little price!
Harry Reid: I used to dream that I would meet a prince But God Almighty, have you seen what's happened since?
Speaker of the house? Isn't worth me spit! `Comforter, philosopher' and lifelong s***! Cunning little b****, regular Voltaire Thinks she quite the player but there's not much there What a cruel trick of nature landed me with such a louse God knows how I've lasted living with this bast*** in the House!
Pelosi and Democrats in House: Speaker of the House!
Harry Reid: Speaker and a half!
Pelosi and Dem House members: Comforter, philosopher
Harry Reid: Ah, don't make me laugh!
Pelosi and Dem House Members: Servant to the poor, butler to the great
Harry Reid: Hypocrite and toady and inebriate!
Nancy and Dem House Members: Everybody bless the Speaker! Everybody bless Reid too!
Pelosi: Raise up the price of gas!
Reid: At $10 we will get it in the ***!
All Everybody blame the gas rise on the Speaker of the House!

The real problem is that the media has convinced voters that it is the GOP who runs Congress while it is the Dems, of course. So, if Nan and Harry bring up issues that appeal to PETA and the enviro nutters, well, the media will cover for them, blame Pubs for not dealing with war and peace and keep the Messiah afloat though he is a leftist naif. Voters should blame the media, other zombies who vote Dems without realizing that their 'hate Bush' ideas will not cover the issues of the next 8 years, and the GOP who until recently never defended their agendas. Serious issues will never be dealt with by lefty Dems since they are socialist pacifists. This is not an agenda which will drive Americans to be the best they can or actually not only benefit America but the world which will applaud the USA when we are the best we can be. |

Dean Barnett speaks:
Above is the McCain campaign’s new ad. Not that anyone asked my opinion, but I like it. Facing an unpleasant reality, there’s no way a normal Republican would have had a chance in the 2008 general election. The Republican brand at this moment is badly damaged and in disrepute. It’s something of a miracle that John McCain became the party’s nominee. It’s a happy miracle, since he’s the only nominee who would have had a chance.
The Mavericky heresies that McCain has indulged in over the past seven years are precisely what make him electable. And though the Maverick thing sounds a bit trite, the fact that he has so many admirers on the other side of the aisle effectively refutes the potentially lethal “McSame” attack line that depicts him as George W. Bush’s political twin.
McCain and his campaign have made some nice progress over the past week. Now they can really shake things up and get ANWR drilling right. Death to the Caribou!
