The non-partisan Tax Foundation released their 2009 State Business Tax Climate Index earlier this week, and Minnesota was in the spotlight. Minnesota made the list of the ten WORST states for businesses, coming in at 41 - not exactly the place we want to be in today's already sluggish economy.

The foundation notes, "The modern market is characterized by mobile capital and labor. Therefore, companies will locate where they have the greatest competitive advantage. States with the best tax systems will be the most competitive in attracting new businesses and most effective at generating economic and employment growth."

The Index has been published yearly since 2003. It ranks states based on the taxes that matter most to businesses and business investment: corporate tax, individual income tax, sales tax, unemployment tax and property tax.  The states are scored on these taxes, and the scores are weighted based on the relative importance or impact of the tax to a business.

SOCIALISM
in this century we have witenessed the relentless march of Socialism acrossed the Globe.
Carl Marx-Russia, to be followed by comunist Stallin.
Adolph Hitler- Germany. He began as a leader for Social Reform and almost destroyed democracy.
Benito Musolini-Italy. Oh he made the trains run on time but the outcome was tragic.
Fidel Castro-Cuba, he had the world fooled for so long.
Hugo Chavez, Venazuala. Our resident dolt,Jimmy Carter traveled down there and declared the election legal when all of Venazula was crying fowl.
All of these men offered CHANGE. All of the results were tragic. And now we have our next Social Reformer--
Barack Obama, United States of America. Should he win this election. ACORN,Ayers,Wright, and on and on into his murkey past.
All of Europe struggles under the yolk of Socialism Light. An insidious mix of civilian disarmement, socialized medicine-if you want to study a tragedy read up on that, it includes factored age and infantacide. Exorbitant tax rates some as high as 53% and high unemployment. To this plight add the problem of uncontrolled illegal migration from Muslim countries and Africa and you have a potential for full continental disaster.
If Socialism is really what the American people want for America vote Obama.?

Nice work, Michele

Michele Bachmann served in the Minnesota State Senate for six years, and in Congress for two years, and this is what she has to show for her work. Not very effective, are you, Michele? What exactly HAVE you done to make Minnesota more business-friendly? Whatever it is, you've certainly FAILED at it, haven't you, if we are to believe your report from the "nonpartisan" Tax Foundation that you cite.

McCain voted for Republican President Bush's Socialist Bailout Plan

Now the Bush Administration is buying stock in private banks

Darn Socialist Republicans

Bachmann supports McCain; has she comprimised her principals?

Oh My
Internal Republican Polling Shows Bachmann in Serious Trouble

I’ve spoken to several Republicans tonight who tell me that internal Republican polling has Michele Bachmann with just a five point lead over El Tinklenberg, her DFL challenger. Not just this, but her trendlines are horrible and she’s below the magic 50% threshold that denotes an incumbent in danger.
I’m also told that the MN GOP is diverting resources into the 6th CD in an effort to save Bachmann. This comes at the expense of Brian Davis down in CD 1 (who, one Republican told me, has been “left for dead”) and Erik Paulsen in CD 3. The state party will still be helping Paulsen, but their commitment will not be as large as once expected due to Bachmann’s troubles.
One Republican told me “this is way worse than 2006.”

Is highly offensive who are you to judge any other citizen on their Pro =American stance or Patriotism--their is a commandment that says that shalt not bear false witness against your neighbors. But I had found watching the mc Cain campaign that the christian Right only use the commandments when it suits their personal needs such as john/cindy an their callous some would consider sinful behavior towards his marriage...

Judge Not Less You Be Judged!
Do Not like People choosing to tell me who the Patriots are this is highly Offensive.
Webster Dictionary says Patriot:
n; one who loves his or her country!
There are many diverse ways of showing Love of Country cannot be measured for me by any one else's standards.
We are very Blessed as a Nation with many diverse cultures Legally Immigrated to this Democratic place in time.
Patriotism is a very Proud term to many Americans from their roots to what they do now as WE THE PEOPLE.
A PATRIOTISM can be from seen in the most decorated Solider all the way to the Individual person trying to be the best they can be with their circumstances as a everyday Citizen..
DO NOT THREAD ON ME!

Lord. take me where you want me to go;
Let me meet who you want me to meet;
Tell me what you want me to say;
and
Keep me out of your way.

Bachmann Denies Saying What She Said
What is up with Minnesota? We are proving to be as obtuse as Texans. Why do we feel the need to elect racist, anti-democracy, reactionary evangelicals? Go Michele Bachmann, just keep saying the tape of you accusing Obama of being anti-American is an urban legend. Palin - Bachmann in 2012.
