Obama lied, healthcare (and more americans) died... |
|
My wife has worked at the same medical (ob/gyn)practice for over 20 years as a nurse. The principle partners of the practice are considering retiring in the next few years but both have said that not only will thy retire early if Obamacare is passed, but will simply shut down the practice rather than try to sell what would be a diminishing asset, ie the practice. That will put my wife, about 20 other nurses and support people, and 3 doctors out of work. And that's just one small independent practice. Multiply that by the tens of thousands that will do the same and you have a disaster of biblical proportion.
Further, another doctor friend of mine who is one of the leading gastroenterologists in the country (if not the world), has said that he will retire in the face of Obamacare and that sizable group will like shutter their doors.
Obamacare will seet American medicine back 150 years and make the 1930s look like the 'Good Ol Days'

I have many physician friends as well and they have vowed to close their doors and retire early rather than practice under the guidelines that Obama is proposing. I am afraid that we will see a serious shortage of physicians in a hurry. Doctors cannot afford to have their fees cut and their malpractice insurance climb. The expense of computerizing all medical records will also compound the problem. What these physicians find more offensive is that a government agency will decide how they administer care. Most physicians are not willing to be treated like a DMV employee. They cannot just follow some government guideline when they know that someones life is at stake. |
|
and fire people are (a) not following their hippocratic oath, and (b) unAmerican.
Most doctors want some changes. |
|
|
If you can not follow your hippocratic oath because the government tells you otherwise would you quit. Would you quit if you had to put money out of your pocket to pay your employees because your reimbursement is not enough to pay them and your malpractice insurance. Would you knowingly deny treatment that you know will help a patient because the government says your patient is not worth spending that much money on. No doctors that do quit will be doing so because they take the hippocratic oath seriously. I believe it is Dr. Emmanuel, Obama's advisor who has clearly stated that doctors should ignore that oath. Many doctors would rather quit than take his advise. |

"That will put my wife, about 20 other nurses and support people, and 3 doctors out of work."
But they'd obviously be able to find new and better jobs immediately. After all, the whole point of this article is that "the administration [is claiming] that the government can cover 47 million more people with better-quality care at lower cost."
So there'd be a lot more people to cover, at the same time there are fewer doctors to split the available money among. More work and bigger bucks for everybody who stays. |
|
New England Journal of Medicine published tier report that 63 percent of physicians support a health reform proposal that includes both a public option and traditional private insurance.
If the additional 10 percent of doctors who support an entirely public health system are included, then approximately 75% of physicians, across all specialties nationwide support inclusion of a public option.
Only 27 percent support a private-only reform that would provide subsidies for low-income individuals to purchase private insurance.
You can misrespresent until the cows come home..but you do not know what you are talking about.

On the floor of the house----TWICE.
He is heard in this video----twice calling Bush a LIAR, among other angry barbs thrown at him.
Did Pete Stark call then President Bush and offer an apology? Hmmmmmmmmmm...
What retribution did Stark receive? Anything from the PRESS? NO. Anything from his fellow congressmen? NO. Anything from Progressives? No. Anything from the Left? No. Anything From Liberals? NO. Anything from victicrats? NO. Anything from Socialists? No. Anything from Communists? No.
Only this at the end of his tirade. Speaker: "...(unintelligible) reminded not to refer to the president in any personal way".

But of course we know that this is a lie. The administration won't be covering everyone and it will cost more. That's the name of that tune! |
|
This woman is a congress(person) ANd in the most important piece of legeslation in damn long time, she is buffooning her buffoonish message, proudly and with the authority of "Barbie at the Prom"
Ok, screaming to the crowd to "slit their wrists" in soldarity was bad. But using Investor Business Daily as reference source, then the basis for a public message????regarding American physicians and healthcare reform....What a moran! (Teabag spelling)
IBD is't even a good stock report paper. Its purpose is simple: To help individual and professional investors make better decisions in less time |
|
"leading gastroenterologists in the country"
yeah, I bet |
|
You are so yesterday! ( as my daughter says)
I predict hidden and "undoctored" secret explosive recordings, and videos, will be "just found" in epidemic proportions this year. year!
What a crazy country. |
|
I was going to provide a link, but I generally don't like strolling away from the topic of the post.
Who is John Galt again?
Palin/Bachmann 2012! |
|
|
I mean, they're, obviously, too close to the problem. No objectivity. A GS-9 high school graduate will be available to help them make the right medical decisions, so that should ease the concerns. And Bob's right, less competition means more work. I mean, seeing 20 patients a day now? Lightweights. Need to increase that to 50 patients a day. |
|
So---please clarify for all of us. You are saying that given these videos happened "yesterday", there is no foul pertaining to Barbara Lee and Pete Stark calling Bush a "LIAR" on the house floor.
OR-----is it that you are saying these, "hidden" and "Undoctored" videos are not depicting a factual event?
What seems really clear---until you expound upon your nonsense----is that you are suggesting that Barbara Lee or Pete Stark did not commit this very same reprehensible "outburst".
RE: OLD BUSINESS You've still NOT proven that I levelled an allegation at Barack Obama which you accused me of. You've NOT proven it----nor have you apologized for this CRAPOLA you dished up.
I do, however, acknowledge your apology for another assumption you made on that same day. I do accept your apology for that---and would never effort to shove your face in it as your party is doing with Joe Wilson.
|
|
"Calamity"----yes, thanks, again. For addressing me as such.
I have sought out the "Calamities" in your party, the latest:
1.) Incredible hypocrisy as exhibited by any Liberal wanting to forward some political gain from Joe Wilson's outburst---WHILE NEVER having said a word about Barbara Lee doing the same thing. While NEVER having said Peep when Pete Stark called Bush a "LIAR" more than twice on the floor of congress.
2.) ACORN defensiveness on part of Liberals/Democrats/Progressives.
3.) "Truther" Van Jones having NEVER been vetted, having NEVER been exposed by the Legacy media for this freakin' whack job allowed into Obama's administration. However, Liberals continue to talk up the fringe group, "Birthers", as if they represent the main stream republican party. It's a LIE.

What Bob forgot to add is that more work means less care. Doctors will not be able to give the patient the attention they need as they will have probably 49 more patients to see that day. Oh and yes there will be lots of jobs as the government requires lots of paperwork so physicians will need a lot more staff. Of course with the reimbursement cuts it is doubtful that any of those workers will be able to be paid more than minimum wage. Sounds great doesn't it.

I predict hidden and "undoctored" secret explosive recordings, and videos, will be "just found" in epidemic proportions this year!
This not a comment on your video excerpt. It is a comment on the whole secret recordings run amok! phenom.
I am unimpressed with the excerpt you posted..who konws what it is, or who it is.

785% of American doctors favor the healthcare reform with public option.
Bachmann is deliberately lying. |
|
75% of AMerican physicians suport reform, with the public option.
785% was an enthusiastic error |
|
|
50 patients a day is just goofing off. Since no one will get an MRI, cancer treatment, hip replacements or vaccines, and all anyone over 65 is going to get is a cyanide pill, they could easily do 150 a day. |
|
Health Ponzi Scheme. And, I happen to know many. They are universally FOR Medical-Tort Reform. They have neither wish nor intention of being relegated to Socialist Junkyard Medicine.
Clear? |
|
|
all of the doctors I know want a public option. Of course, Los Angeles is more liberal. They already have problems collecting their larger bills. |
|
"all of the doctors I know want a public option"
How many would that be? |
|
|
start with my next door neighbor and his 5 partners (they are gastroenterologists), then my internist and his 6 partners (general medical practice), my eye doctor (MD), my orthopedist (and his 3 partners), my two golfing partners (both OBs). But, do keep in mind, that NONE of them have medicare patients or take insurance anymore. They have heard nothing to suggest that they will be forced to change their policies. |
|
|
|
|
All legitimate doctors oppose Obamacare! If I knew my doctor supported it, I would instantly find a better educated doctor who was not a quack. Any doctor who is stupid enough to support Obamacare is no coctor to go to. |
|
|
Who gives you the best lollips, the gastroenterologists or the internists? |
|
"They have heard nothing to suggest that they will be forced to change their policies"
Of course they haven't.
That would be like telling the lambs what the mint jelly is for. |

(as noted on a home made sign at the 9/12 rally in DC) we are the party of "Hell NO".
Quarantine DC. Nothing comes out of that place until we can drain the fever swamp.
Don't forget to have some milk and cookies before you turn in Jordan. Have your mother read you a nice liberal bed wetting story. |

I think the left has been given enough time for their phony distractions: It is time to get back to dissecting the bill and getting to the truth. Of, course this is a challenge because one day the white house says the presidents plan is not written yet and the house says there are several versions, so for those of us who have grounds to be weary of this, we can continue with the house version since that is the ultimate goal of the WH. In his speech before the congress, obama uttered several things that did not get any attention. Many have wondered about the abortion coverage and about medical personnel being forced to perform them. The same goes for counseling and dispensing the morning after pill. Obama made a very brief ‘the religious conscience clause is in there’. I have been over the 1017 pages a few times and used a search to find only one clause as it would pertain to medical professionals and hospitals. Is it Section 301 – 59B (5) RELIGIOUS CONSCIENCE EXEMPTION. Did any of you find something else?
|
|
Here is the only Religious Conscience Exemption clause I could find and it has no bearing on the medical profession, it applies only to persons not wanting health insurance for religious reasons. Pay close attention to this clause - it seems to make it legal to withhold medical care from a child for religious reasons. How many children die each year because of this. This clause would seem to give permission to parents to kill their children for their religion. SEC. 301. INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY.
For an individual's responsibility to obtain acceptable coverage, see section 59B of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (as added by section 401 of this Act). Must go to irs to find out responsibility?? Section 59B (5) RELIGIOUS CONSCIENCE EXEMPTION-
`(A) IN GENERAL- Subsection (a) shall not apply to any individual (and any qualifying child residing with such individual) for any period if such individual has in effect an exemption which certifies that such individual is a member of a recognized religious sect or division thereof described in section 1402(g)(1) and an adherent of established tenets or teachings of such sect or division as described in such section.
`(B) EXEMPTION- An application for the exemption described in subparagraph (A) shall be filed with the Secretary at such time and in such form and manner as the Secretary may prescribe. Any such exemption granted by the Secretary shall be effective for such period as the Secretary determines appropriate. ----- wouldn’t this say it is okay not to seek medical care for your children because of beliefs> didn’t another child just die from neglect from this kind of thing? |

is still a piece of garbage.
Obama says it will cost costs....untrue..it will cost more for the patients and the doctors.
Obama says it will cover everyone in the US...untrue..it is purported to cover 94% of americans..about 90% are already covered.
Obama says that it doesn't cover illegal aliens...untrue...if you are using the 46 million number..that includes illegals.
Obama sasy that this plan will be deficit neutral...untrue...will increase btween 1 to 1.6 trillion over 10 years with no way to pay for it.
Obama says that he can pay for it by cutting waste and fraud in Medicare & medicaid...uhmmmm..if he can do that, why not DO IT NOW! Don't need a new program for that.
Notice how I didn't say lie....but then everyone still knows what I mean. |

65% of Doctors oppose obamacare!
